Reclamation

It is of vital importance that we reclaim our full female sexual expression. This is not simply a matter of  ‘wouldn’t it be nice if….’ Full authentic feminine sexual expression is part of the process of remembering what it means to be human, to be part of an intricately woven fabric of life. It is an integral element in the re-telling of the Myth of our Human Experience. And of course, our full female sexual expression is a key piece of The Re-Wilding of the feminine.

It can’t be of surprise to learn that female sexual expression, across the globe, is on the endangered species list (as is authentic masculine sexual expression that is in service of life rather than destruction).

Here’s the real kicker…authentic female sexual expression is taught and evoked by women, not by men. In other words, if we want to learn a sexuality that is based on men and the masculine, then we allow ourselves to learn about our sexuality from our men. But if we desire to know how sexuality lives within our female bodies, what it means to be authentically sexual female beings, discover our unique and infinitely mercurial erotic maps that live in each of us, we will learn from our sisters. We will sit in intimate conversation with our sisters. We will tell our truth to our sisters. And then, we will carefully and reverently invite our men into this body of wisdom we have discovered, but not a moment before then.
